NSW State Planning Policy 33 (SEPP 33)
Preliminary and Final Hazard Analyses and Fire Safety Studies for potentially hazardous NSW developments.
In New South Wales, developments over a threshold size that may be classified as hazardous or offensive are required to submit reports to regulatory authorities describing hazards associated with the development and what strategies are to be implemented to control them.
Salus Risk can assist by performing safety audits of existing facilities and providing reports describing identified hazards and suggesting risk mitigation strategies.
Note: SEPP 33 now sits within Chapter 3 of State Environmental Planning Policy (Resilience and Hazards) 2021. The hazard study requirements carry across.
